I just finished finished polishing a white Thassos marble floor. After two days the entire floor turned yellow. Help, what do I do?

What process was used to polish the floor? I have seen this problem on Thassos marble when recrystallization has been used. If this was the process that was used the entire floor will have to honed to remove the yellowing. The yellowing is probably caused due to a reaction of the chemicals in the recrystallization product and the iron in the marble. Not all recrystallization products cause this yellowing. Always test an area prior to polishing the entire floor.

TIP When using the recrystallization process on Thassos marble it is very important that the floor be dry. It is a good idea to wait at least 24 hours or longer after honing to apply recrystallization.
